Coronavirus: Update on business impact

The coronavirus outbreak has become an all-consuming global crisis, with unprecedented business upheaval.

We are closely monitoring the evolution of the Covid-19 situation and following UK Government recommendations.

Following government guidance announced recently, which states that businesses not on the restricted list can remain in operation, Kyocera SGS are not on the list and therefore we are continuing to manufacture and service our customers.

Crucially, we supply products and services in the medical, power generation and aerospace markets – markets that are considered essential operations.

We will endeavour to keep operations and service delivery going, as long as there is a demand for our products during this unprecedented time.

Our US headquarters in Ohio remain open for shipping as normal.

Stock and deliveries

We have also increased our stock-holding by 20% to ensure our customers can get the products they require and we are still working to next-day delivery for standard stock items.

We are regularly updating staff on the situation and making the necessary precautions with immediate effect.

As a responsible employer, we have told all office-based staff to work from home and instructed no work-related travel.

We have assessed our team for their level of health-risk and taken the necessary precautions to ensure the health and safety of our team and wider community.
