Kyocera SGS Announces Sales Leadership Update to Support Long-Term European Growth

Kyocera SGS Precision Tools Europe Ltd has announced a sales leadership update as part of a long-term leadership and succession plan, designed to support continued growth and strategic continuity across the UK and European markets.

From 1 January 2026, Damian Ward will be promoted to Sales Director of Kyocera SGS Precision Tools Europe, taking responsibility for driving sales strategy and performance across the region. In his new role, Damian will implement an ambitious strategic sales plan focused on growth, customer collaboration, and long-term value creation.

As part of this planned leadership evolution, Dave Colton will begin the next phase towards retirement, transitioning into the role of EU Business Development Manager from 1 January 2026. Looking ahead to 1 April 2026, Dave will further refine his role, working more flexibly and stepping down from the EU Leadership Team. He will continue to support Damian throughout the handover period and beyond, ensuring continuity and momentum across European sales activities.

During his tenure as Sales Director, Dave Colton has played a pivotal role in the business’s success, leading growth in sales turnover to record levels, unifying Sales and Marketing into a fully integrated function, and supporting diversification into new markets, including the medical and power generation sectors.
