KYOCERA SGS offers manufacturers the opportunity to Make a Change

Jan 05 in News

The Make a Change initiative from KYOCERA SGS is helping manufacturers to enhance productivity and create cost savings.

Make a Change provides a flexible and COVID-safe solution for companies seeking innovative ways to maximise their manufacturing processes.

The scheme is designed to help businesses aiming to take a fresh look at how they work, improve systems or address a long-standing challenge. It brings together the expertise of our Technical Sales Engineers and the advanced technology of the company’s solid carbide cutting tools.

Make a Change is fully COVID-safe as KYOCERA SGS’s Technical Sales Engineers can either attend on-site with the assurance of a high standard of PPE or discuss via TEAMS or Zoom and use our technical centre to test tools.

By applying our proven problem-solving expertise, our Technical Sales Engineers are helping companies to:

  • Increase tool life
  • Boost productivity
  • Improve finish.

Manufacturers working with us during lockdown saw results such as a  5 x tool life, 4.5 times the amount of holes required for customer testing and cycle time reduced by 85%.

Tony Theaker, UK Sales Manager at KYOCERA SGS, says:

“The start of the new year is the ideal time to review and refresh manufacturing processes. As we’ve frequently seen in our work with companies, even a small change can make a significant difference to productivity and cost savings.

We operate to a high standard of COVID-safety at all times and we’re happy to work around each company’s needs.

We’re inviting manufacturers with a burning question about their processes or a long-standing production problem to challenge us to Make a Change for them!” You can ask your question online via the link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/DBYSQ3M
