Meet Steven Pearson, aka Sid. He is our Northern Ireland Sales Manager. Steve has more than 25 years’ experience in the aerospace, automotive and oil & gas industries. His career started with an apprenticeship at Huddleston Engineering (now Magellan Aerospace). Sid's role is all about making sure clients get the best out of our tools. So, instead of simply identifying the right cutter for the client, he will advise them on the whole process. He gives them insight into how to use the product, what it’s going to be running at and how long it’s going to last – everything involved with bringing out the value-added.” For those that already know Sid, but haven't seen him for a while, he looks significantly different to what he did pre-Covid. Sid has lost a significant amount of weight - over 9 stone and counting. Awesome!

Steve is one of our longest-serving team members and is our Senior Application Engineer covering West Midlands. He has been an engineer within the Aerospace, Motorsports and Automotive markets for the last 38 years. Engineering aside, Steve also has a love of bikes and music. Introducing Dave Colton, our Global Sales and Marketing Director. From leaving school, Dave completed his apprenticeship as a tool maker in Sheffield. Throughout his career, spanning 43 years (so far), Dave has gained in-depth knowledge of the cutting tool industry with particular focus on the aerospace and medical sectors. Dave now leads the Kyocera SGS sales and marketing team. Even after 43 years, Dave says he is still learning and enjoys the daily challenge of solving customers problems. Although not as fit as he was a few years ago (his words). Dave still enjoys regular exercise and walks in the countryside. Dave is also a keen snowboarder which he fell in love with over 20 years ago.
